Well I've concluded a few things....

Firstly, the 'ssssshhhhhhhhhh' sound is just the weird guy in the room next to me taking laughing gas in the early hours of the morning 0__o I asked my other flatmates about this and they said they hear it too and know what it is.

Secondly, the clunking sound was most likely pipe work because there is a small room between mine and the next room, which holds all the pipes between the bathrooms.

I still don't know what the weird radio sound was but I haven't heard it since...

I have started wearing my earphones at night aswell because they block out most outside noise. So it's possible the weird sounds are still going on but I can't hear them anymore xD

Also, the guy next to me is strange and I think he has trouble sleeping right now. He wakes me up wiht his laughing gas ¬__¬ and sometimes he is on the phone at like 5am or coughing....

Update on art progress:
I have recently started working with another student who is writing poems for a children's book. I will be doing the illustrations for the book =] Progress will be slow because I'm really busy, but there is progress xD

I started another picture a few days ago, I need to find a good time to do art though. I usually work in the evenings but that's not always possible when I have lots of reading and/or assignments to do -__-
